Pastor
Raymond C. Monk
Rev. Raymond C. Monk is married to Camille Monk and is the proud father of their son Winston Monk. He is also the proud son of Rev. Raymond and Mrs.Betty Monk.
In 2018, at age 37, Rev. Monk became the second Pastor in Ephesians' rich history. Prior to being handed the baton as the spiritual leader of EMBC, Rev. Monk had the distinct privilege to be molded and shaped as a man, disciple and husband by the Founding Pastor of Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Joe H. Todd. While completing undergraduate studies at Moody Bible institute, Rev. Monk served at The Progressive Baptist Church of Chicago under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Charlie Dates. During his tenure at Progressive, Rev. Monk has led The Teen Ministry, taught Young Adults and assisted new members with getting acclimated.
For reasons that please Him, God has blessed The Ephesians Missionary Baptist church to grow wide and deep.
The impact of Rev. Monk's ministry is not only felt within the sacred walls of the church but he is intentional to ensure that the church is making an impact in the lives of people and influencing every sphere of society for the glory of God.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Monk is serving as a Board Member of Cross Trainers Academy, Planning Team Member of Milwaukee Kingdom Growth Conference, Cohort Member of Marquette University's Third Pastoral Leadership in a Cultural Context and a monthly contributor to Wisconsin's Largest African American Newspaper, The Milwaukee Community Journal. Rev. Monk is passionate to ensure that The Gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly explained and proclaimed so that believers are uplifted, encouraged and challenged.
Pastor Monk is widely invited to preach at churches, conferences and universities throughout the United States. To invite Pastor Monk to speak at your next event, please contact his assistant Ms. Angela Ewing at info@embcmilwaukee.org.
